Addressing some of the questions raised in the comments over the past few months:

1. Can we send this blog our photos? The answer is no. Just too much spam comes in via that route and there is no time to sift through it. Plus personal photos are not tolerated in any case. Sometimes, however, user contributed celeb images have been posted but its usually an exception.
2. Why only barefeet photo's? Most good feet showing celeb photos are missed that way! Yes, that is a valid point especially since most of the Pakistani celebs don't usually do barefeet shoots. Some of non barefeet photos of celebs will be added in future on case by case basis as long as the celeb is a pretty one. 
3. Why no videos? Maybe, if time permits. Most celeb videos are on youtube anyway.
4. Can we have more photos of XYZ? If they aren't already here, then most probably they aren't worth posting here.
5. Haven't you heard of ragalahari? Yes. But most of the models there are not good looking enough to feature here. That said, expect some of the "worth posting" photoshoots here.
6. Can we have daily, more frequent updates? Sorry, No. If you want more, google is your friend. As was mentioned a year back, the blog might cease to exist in future. Enjoy while it lasts.

Image Hosting, HQ Images and Donations!

There have been complaints about why some of the older posts of this blog are not displaying any images. Unfortunately, some of the HQ images posted at that time were uploaded to various imagehosts which have over time deleted those images for reasons they know best. As a result you will find quite a few broken images in older posts of this blog.

A decision was taken last year to upload all images to picasa web albums so that the situation of image deletion does not arise. However, picasa has a limited free usage space(1Gb of storage only) and that is about to run out. Paid storage plans will have to be purchased in order to preserve all the past uploads.

A request to all readers of this blog that if you like the stuff posted here, please consider making a small donation via paypal. It will help us in getting more dedicated storage space.

Apart from that, there are also many stock images of various bollywood stars that are available for purchase from different commercial stock sites. For example here are a couple of shots I haven't seen anywhere of Aishwarya Rai in bed barefoot.

Since individual photos in high resolution are usually too costly to purchase, your donations would allow us to purchase and post such rare images here.

Donations however, are completely voluntary!

Obituaries for this blog are coming thick and fast. While its pleasing to know that a lot many among you want this blog to continue, please understand that nothing is permanent. If there have been no updates here, its because the authors are busy with their personal life.

It's also a fact that this blog will come to an end sooner or later. However, that time has not arrived, yet!

For the next few days and weeks you can expect new updates. In most cases especially for celebs from South India, the photos have been contributed by a reader of this blog: Sree_USA.

And finally, the updates for the next few weeks have been posted using Blogger's automatic post scheduling which allows for posts to be published at a future time. So the images themselves might be old but they have been deliberately staggered over many number of days to keep the posts here fresh.

Oh and about the photos of the model in this post, her name is Arohi and she has been shot by fashion photographer Nitin Bedi ;) Here are couple more of her photo's

Updates and Future!

Its been a long time since there were updates to this blog. As was mentioned at the start of the year, while this blog will continue to remain open, the updates will be few and far between. A lot of readers have commented about giving daily updates and why the updates are never coming. Some have been extremely rude, others just plain angry.

Just for the record, this is a blog and nothing else. There is more to do in life than upload to a photo blog and one will only do it in free time! (As a forewarning, its quite possible that there might not be any updates at all after some time). Enjoy what's already here and if you are not happy with that, then use google and look for other websites.

200 posts for BollyFeet

Another landmark for this blog! This is the 200th published post on BollyFeet
This hasn't been the most active blog. This certainly hasn't been the blog that has been regular in updates which have either been totally absent or have come in batches.
But 8 months into this blog, one can safely say that the blog has celebrated Indian Beauty. A standard has always been maintained irrespective of the Blog Author and a genuine effort has been made to make this blog stand out from a plethora of photoblogs on bollywood celebs and models. There are lot of photos out there that can be posted and haven't been if they were found to be in bad taste. Although we cannot say that all that has been posted was of high quality, certainly the majority of the posts should have been.
At this juncture its also worth saying that there might not be updates to this blog in future, not to say immediately. The blog will remain on blogger as long as blogspot remains online so its safely stashed on the internet(hopefully) permanently. Most of the images hosted here are either on blogspot or on supload.com and barring some very old posts, the images should remain on supload permanently too.

And to round of this drab post, here is a nice model(unknown) photo.

Best Barefeet actress pictures of the year

The first day of the new year would be a good time to reflect on some of the best photos according to me of this blog till now. The blog readers can comment on which they thought were the best in their opinion.

I will list my 5 choices. I am not rating model pictures here but only of bollywood actresses. The criteria is great barefeet photos which aren't vulgar.

My first choice would be the very first post of the blog itself, by Artistic.

She isn't the most beautiful lady in the world for nothing. I know i haven't done justice to her or this blog by not posting more of her, but there aren't many around also.

My Second choice would be the first photo below of Diya Mirza.

Third Choice would be this photo of Perizaad in a sari(a beautiful one at that) with her bare feet in the air. Superb Photo, i would call it artistics best.

New Author for Bollyfeet

Hello everyone,
I have been contributing to this blog regularly by sending photos to Artistic who has been posting them here or i have been posting them under his alias for a very long time. From yesterday i have been made main author of this blog and can directly post them under my screen name.

Artistic meanwhile is little busy with his life(i am also but not as much) and has decided to pass over the reins of this blog to me. I will try to maintain the same standard of this blog though. And post when possible the best of Indian Celeb photos.

Starting the show with Model Anurita Jha. She was the Channel V Get Gorgeous winner for the year 2005.

How to Submit photos to this blog

Since there were some requests, here is a how to on how to submit photos to this blog.
First of all please note the submission rules.

• Only photos of Indian(and in some cases Pakistani) celebs (celebs=actresses,models only) are allowed. And don't waste time sending real life photos or photos of non-celebs. They will be rejected outright.
  
• Full size photos in good taste only. If you send photos that have head chopped off or only showing legs or anything like that, they will be rejected.
• Goes without saying that the photographs must be suitable for all. (Usually Indian celeb photos are!)
• All submissions must include the name of the celeb.(A brief bio might be useful also but its not mandatory)
• And preferably the photos should be un-watermarked. (I do post watermarked photos but usually the un-watermarked photos will be the ones that will be posted.
• Also mention any screen name you want mentioned if your submissions make it to this blog.

I guess the criteria is a bit tough. That is the case because i want to maintain the quality of this blog more than anything else.

New Look for BollyFeet

I have changed the look of this site today. Looks a lot different from the normal run of the mill blogs i hope. If someone wants to, maybe leave a comment if it sucks or is good :)

Its a dark template yes but i think it goes well with the rest of the colours.

A note to other blog owners!

I have been noticing that a lot of other blog owners read this blog, find some entries that are popular and go on to post them on their own blog or site with the same set of images that are posted here. One of the hallmarks of this blog was that i had planned not to watermark or watermark images at places that don't alter the actual celeb. Unfortunately this has led to leeching with some rogue webmasters using this as a quick shortcut to grab images, watermark them with their own watermark and posting them on their site.

Fact is everyone is leeching images. But atleast respect the people who spend time to find rare scans or make wallpapers from the normal photos. If you copy something, link back to the source.

Hopefully some people will listen...

Model Photoshoots and Bare Feet.

Its a fact that when you talk of fashion, you automatically think of gorgeous looking models. But its not just the looks, its the whole body that matters for these models. Fashion is a tough line and your whole body has to be beautiful if you are going to survive in the fashion world.
And thats why legs and feet are as important as good looking face for a model. Its one of the first thing you notice on a ramp in a fashion show(ok wait after the clothes although the jury is still out how many people go to a fashion show for the clothes...). All that means that in model photoshoots you will invariably find some very cool shots of beautiful models showing off their legs and feet. And they sure are pretty. My only complaint is that why aren't these models going barefeet in tradional wear fashion shows. They would look stunning if they did that. alas!!

Showing Bare Feet and Bollywood

Unfortunate as it is, finding models or bollywood stars bare feet is getting increasingly tough. The fact is that there are not enough models or mainstream actresses who do a photo shoot showing their bare feet. Which is pretty sad considering that Indian traditional dresses like saree, gaghra etc look best on women with bare feet. (or so i think anyway) The sheer beauty of such a photo can't be described. Alas! as i said its impossible to find such photo shoots and they appear rarely in magazines. Contrast that with the west where the celebs regularly do photo shoots bareing their feet and legs.

Most photo shoots go along the lines the one below of Celina Jaitley.

Nice pose but she ends up with a sandal on the floor where maybe a bare feet shot was due. On the other hand the type like of Neetu Chandra are hard to find.



However, if we look at the trend say in the South Indian film industry, this is certainly not the case. Even the top actresses regularly do photo shoots, and more importantly show bare feet in dresses where they should be shown(read traditional ware).

This blog will still attempt to find all the photos be it from Bollywood or Tollywood where the celebs go bare feet. Having said that not everything gets posted here as the principle of beauty is weighed first and then the photo is looked into. So expect only pretty or mainstream actresses, models here.

Future updates to BollyFeet

An update on the future updates to this blog.

This blog will in future not only address bollywood actresses and North Indian Models but also actresses from South India(Tollywood and Kollywood). There are also plans to include Lollywood(Pakistan film industry) into the blogs sphere.

The basic idea of the blog will be to aggregate the best bare feet photos of all the celebs from South Asia, in a way that's tasteful and not offensive.

Due to the same reason, the comments on posts of bollyfeet will remain moderated and will only be approved if they are of a nature suitable for public viewing.

So much for quality photos...

Unfortunately in India there is so much of a rush to make celeb sites and galleries, that finding unwatermarked, or even leaving that, small watermarked photos is next to impossible. There are very few sites that offer those and they themselves have ripped them off from some other paid website and chopped off the watermark.

Well all this unfortunately means that finding high quality photos showing barefeet celebs(no simple task in the first place) is an extremely tough task. And so in many cases the photos and wallpapers you see here are not of good quality. (and in most cases have terrible watermarks)

Well unlike in western countries, where finding photos that are unwatermarked is quite easy, its no so in India. Here we have a mad rush of people opening sites everyday of celebs and celeb gallery. I don't have any problem with that. What i hate is that they do not offer the people a choice to remove the watermark. I don't think i will ever put on a photo that has 1/4th area(an exaggeration yes, but not by much i dare say) occupied by the site name or a horrible logo. Even big sites who actually purchase the original photos from the photographers have been guilty of this(read indiafm,santabanta). While granted they want to protect their investment, i would still prefer if they devise some method of letting users download at least 1 unwatermarked wallpaper per day. I have seen this site do that using a form currency based system, and i can't see why others can't also.

oh well that's about that. More a post to explain why an art blog has so horrible photo quality. I hope you got the drift.

Bare Feet Beauties... What is this?

If you came here wondering what this is all going to be about, well.. This is a celeb blog with a bit of a difference. In almost all of the cases, the photos that will be uploaded will have the celeb showing their feet.

This blog is about photos of actresses and models from south asia.

Now if you are wondering what sadistic pleasure anyone can have by having such a photo blog, then believe me there is nothing sadistic about this. Many people love to see beautiful women with beautiful feet(not just exclusively beautiful feet, though). No i don't like the domination or just feet photos, hardly, that is what i consider perversion. Posting real life pictures is anyway a crime and as such they are hardly artistic, they frankly suck most of the time(pardon the extreme language). There are many forums where threads are made claiming to contain "beautiful feet photos" and they end up having nothing more than a disgraceful mix of real life photos where the head or the top is mostly chopped off.This blog will be different. This is a photo blog and its about celebs with beautiful feet. I don't believe in nudity(more on that some other day) and so there will be no nudity on this blog(and this is certainly not a porn blog so don't even expect porn actress photos here)

I hope you enjoy this photo blog. I consider it an art blog showcasing beautiful South Asian Celebs. And i hope it will remain so...
